As a kind of spin-off of New York City and Me, the biographical work “Sit down, I got a story to tell ya” is about the life of Garry Zafrani. The book was written in co-authorship between 2016 and 2019.
Set in a background story, Garry tells thrilling, tragic and hilarious episodes of his life: The youthful runaway, whose shelter became a Brooklyn cemetery, entered New York City’s nightlife in the 60s at quite an early age. He ascended to a high profile drug dealer, lost all his fortune and got back on his feet again. While riding on this roller coaster of life he learned numerous lessons – not only in his six marriages…
